David Buckingham
David Buckingham, Director of the Centre for the Study of Children, Youth and Media at the Institute of Education, London University, visited the project from 8-19 December 2008. During his two-week visit David provided us with invaluable advice on the development of the project. He also gave a plenary presentation - Do We Really Need Media Education 2.0? Prospects for Media Literacy Education in the Age of Participatory Media - at the First International Conference on Popular Culture and Education, led three seminars at the HKIEd and participated in a dinner organised by the Hong Kong Association of Media Education.
