In September 2007, the Faculty of Languages, Arts and Sciences at the Hong Kong Institute of Education set up a two-year umbrella project to develop research on popular culture and education in Hong Kong. We are now supporting several small-scale projects and planning an international symposium on Popular Culture and Education for December 2008. The project is coordinated by steering committee members Phil Benson, Jane Cheung-Lung, Josephine Do, Aaron Koh, Leung Chi Cheung and Annie Mok.
